As a well-rounded man should have several hobbies and interests, I want to qualify a performing art as its own special talent. It seems to me, for example, I may be an excellent drawer/painter/writer or what have you, but these do not compare with dancing/magic/singing.
I've plugged myself into the mentality "actions speak louder than words," similar to how you say "watch what she does, not what she says." Perhaps I'm typing this because I'm a shy guy and have some diffculty producing words to say/topics to discuss in the moment, so I'm leading myself to believe that doing/showing her something interesting may get my foot in the door better than without a "visual aide."
That's just my problem but the general idea of posessing an extra talent that speaks for itself is better than none at all. Hell, any amount of words, even the fewest possible can describe what you do at work, how you like to do this and that (when she asks, not saying to go around advertising yourself); I find it more impressive to produce an action than to speak of actions. In the ultimate perspective, the action of speaking could be all there is to it.
These are my cluster of thoughts.
What is your perspective? Do you/can you entertain a lady/an audience of whomever with something other than words? Is you skill strongest in your ability to use words (charisma)? What would you recommend the focus be?
there doesn't seem to be anything here
