A few of my plates are persistent. Like if they find out I'm busy that night, they become OBSESSED with getting me to come over. Of course I don't. I hold frame. I resist people trying to control my life, and I don't like being told what to do naturally. I guess it's a blessing I didn't have to "learn" that one.

So my question isn't high level, it's macro. Can I tease them about their persistence? I'm talking texts like:

"Wow. You realllly must want to see me ;)"

"You're pretty persistent when you want something aren't you..."

And things of that nature? Some girls I've tried it with like it. They play along "Mhm, that's right" and then follow up with hot pictures to try and lure me over.

But others? I feel like they get self concious about how forward they are coming across and then I've sort of triggered a "social awareness cascade" that occasionally results in me losing a plate. In other words, I've made the focus of our conversation the meta dynamics of how she's always pursuing me, and I'm never pursuing her. It's like pointing out the problem with the emperors new close - magic dispelled. Butterflies in her stomach squashed. Defense mode engaged.

So what's everyone's take on this? What's the TRP response?
