Of course! He’s always been nothing but supportive of anything I’ve wanted to do, no matter how silly.

I know it sounds like my husband is hard on me but ultimately I think he just wants me to be more efficient. No, he's extremely hard on you. This is not how he should be treating you. Is it possible you haven't expressed the overwhelm you feel? You shouldn't be so exhausted and stressed all the time. I would recommend getting a bit vulnerable with him and explaining a little bit of how you're feeling. No "you make me" or "I feel upset when you." Just... "I'm really overwhelmed with everything I …

I think there's this misconception that housewife/SAHM means that you have to be the full-time caretaker 24/7, 365 days a year and do everything around the house except for pay the bills. This isn't the case. You are working full-time while he is working full-time. When there are holidays, weekends, and so on, you are BOTH parents and homeowners. Not just you, not just him. He’d been implying he might propose on Christmas for awhile, and then we got tipsy a few days before, and after some bedroom fun he rolled over and pulled out a ring. I was completely shocked and cried (a lot), lol! It was unplanned, random, and everything I could’ve wanted. It was pure him which was so much better than something over-the-top just meant to make me happy. I love the man. I want him to be my forever man. I want to follow him everywhere and build a family with him. I want to grow o…

It sounds like you're trying to use RPW methodology to manipulate your relationship rather than enhance it. I don't make up problems that don't exist and ask my partner to fix them in an effort to stroke his ego. If I can open the can myself, you bet your ass I'm opening it myself. But when something is causing me a lot of problems, bringing me stress, or just generally overwhelming me, that is when I go to him. If I can't open the can no matter how hard I try, I'm not going to take hours to res…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
