hello everyone, After seeing the disgusting content on r/femaledatingstrategy as well as witnessing the “no men” policy I have decided to both test whether reddit will punish their political allies and whether they equally apply their community use policy. To do this I have made a report on their reddit help page under harassment. It is as follows
“The subreddit r/femaledatingstrategy is currently breaking EU,UK and US law. Moreover, the subreddit openly advertises and enforced their no men policy which contradicts the law. By hosting them you are enabling and supporting this assisting illegal activities. Moreover the banning of male participation in an activity especially in regards to speech breaks the following laws in each country.
UK: ”The Sex Discrimination Act 1975 (c. 65) was an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom which protected men and women from discrimination on the grounds of sex or marital status. The Act concerned employment, training, education, harassment, the provision of goods and services, and the disposal of premises.“ reddit is therefore arguably complicit in the illegal provision of goods and services as well as education
EU: Article 21 on the EU charter of fundamental rights bans ANY discrimination on the grounds of sex/gender.
US: Title VII 1964 equal rights amendment makes illegal any discrimination based on sex/gender
Your exposure; first of all, in my opinion the following law means that r/femaledatingstrategy is breaking EU,US and UK law which means the mods and potentially members are liable to civil and legal litigation. Furthermore, your recent banning of “unfavourable” subreddits means that your rights to consider yourself a platform are definitely questionable and thus you may too be liable for this clear discrimination. Also, by assisting in this criminal behaviour, you are possibly in breach of the serious crime law of 2007 that makes assisting or encouraging criminal behaviour illegal and punishable.
Based on the former, I intend to further explore the legal litigation of such discriminatory behaviour. I further intend to build and create a case via the gathering of evidence, legal expertise and resources to potentially litigate this disgusting discrimination that you have so will fully allowed up until now. I may also lobby for the support of my local member of Parliament.”
It’s a bit... well craply written and rambling but it’s worth a try. Anyway, to help me see whether reddit will stand by their community guidelines and apply them equally or to help me get r/femaledatingstrategy banned please go to reddit help and send a similar message to them.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
