Funny interaction, from a dating app:
I'm an old guy. Got a match with a much younger person. We exchanged a little back and forth and setup logistics for me to pick her up from school and we'd hit a local restaurant.

I had already suggested one. She asked to move it to one of those places with fancy-looking, low-budget appetizers, and "drink specials", with no prices listed. Fine. I'm in it for the experience. I've never pursued this kind of arrangement. I'm curious. Sure, it's beta.

Met her in her school, in front of the front desk, so that I had evidence of a friendly meeting and departure, on the school's cameras and made sure to be seen by multiple people as we chatted. Decided we were comfortable with each other, so onward.

From almost the moment we were in the car, the subject turned to her "circumstances" and "needs". I deflected or straight-up said that, this or that monetary situation was not something I could help with. I didn't say, I won't give you money. It was a bunch of one-line-vetos. She asked if I would give her my car. (It was clear, I could use a new one.) I just laughed. I did say I would contact a couple people about internships.

Got to the restaurant, she'd picked. Remember, the menu has no prices listed. She went straight for the most expensive drink. She had 2. The waiter just kept grinning, like he was getting kickbacks or thought I was trying to get somewhere with my date, by plying her with drink. I declined to buy her a third.

The bill comes and she grabs it. Looks at the total, maybe she read the whole thing. I took it back and she squeels about the total and "what had cost so much?". I just deflected and shrugged. It was a ruthless interview. She was totally open. She kept either leading me in conversation, to monitary topics. It was relentless attempts to qualify whether I would be a good provider. You could say that I passed and failed the tests. No $$$ were exchange, offered or given.

Whenever I deflected, or discarded, it shifted and intensified. Whenever I straight-out said, "that's not in the plan", she would back off and change the subject, then slowly lead back into aother, different "fiscal" situation.

Dropped her home. Haven't heard from since. I guess I failed her tests. All-in-all, it was fun, interesting, informative, and generally entertaining. I didn't eat alone that evening, too. (beta, yeah, FU).

I haven't seen much on "sugar daddy" interactions, for obvious reasons. But, It's something I checked-out. RP-mode was in effect. I swung between fascination of how my reactions were taking effect, to the other end of the scale, of full-on-cringe. I'm clearly thinking about that type of arrangement. I understand, a lot, of how non-RP that is. Convicted.
